Packco Handling are able to negotiate with reprocessors for excellent rates which allows us to buy all grades of plastic, paper, and metals at very competitive prices.

We can carry out a free waste audit to help customers minimise waste costs and help towards sustainable options for their waste streams including finding recycling and disposal destinations for difficult materials.

Supplier of waste related consumables

Packco handling supplies 9mm through to 16mm baling tape which is suitable for most vertical Baling presses. We also supply standard 13ft,14ft and 18ft cut and loop, annealed and galvanised baling wire also formers and rewound coils for automatic presses.

We also supply shredding sacks, compactor bags, office paper/storage bins, external waste containers and confidential bins. We can also provide bespoke containers, drop down front bins with different types of castor wheels, add towing hooks and forklift pockets.

Hazardous Waste

Packco Handling will look at any job from a single drum, lab clearance to a full tanker service. We have a number of reputable disposal sites available through our partners that can offer segregation and bulking, incineration, chemical and biological treatment and composting. We also run a full range of transport facilities.

Wood

If you are looking for a new solution or don’t currently send your wood for recycling we can look at various options to maximise the handling of your wood waste. We handle all types of wood waste from shavings, broken pallets, chipboard and even MDF.

Capital equipment and servicing

Packco Handling can supply new and refurbished compactors and balers on rentals, lease or outright purchases, we also have the option to supply machinery free of charge within our total waste management services.

Food Waste

We work with a number of Anaerobic Digestion Plants (AD Plant) where food is broken down to produce fertilisers and Bio gas, we source the most local AD Plant to the customer to ensure the carbon footprint is always considered and we are not moving vehicles all over the UK unnecessarily.

Site Clearances

We can clean up any industrial sites that have had spillages or need tidying up, or had commercial tenants leaving. We also offer a full strip out service including the removal of racking, redundant equipment or a full clean down.

Clinical

As a total waste and facilities management company we can handle all types of clinical waste services including washrooms. We have a number of products and services available inclusive of Sanitary bins, odour control bins, sharps bins, offensive waste and dental waste.

Disposal of old stock lines and factory clearouts

We will handle all product lines from slightly damaged stock, redundant packaging, short sell by date foods, customer returns and end of line products.

We will handle as little as a pallet load to a full warehouse clearout.

We will ensure any products that need destroying will go to a fully audited secure destruction site which is UKAS 9001 and ICO accredited and operates under BS EN15713.

Pallet Management

As part of our commitment to managing all site waste we can buy and supply pallets. We have a network of established pallet companies that we work with nationally and can offer competitive prices for reconditioned and also the supply and management of new and used pallets.

WEEE Recycling

Packco Handling offer a safe and simple solution for the collection, recycling and treatment of your WEEE. All waste materials will be sent to an approved authorised treatment facility (AATF) where all WEEE items will be recycled and disposed of under the WEEE regulations this ensures that your legislative and duty of care requirements are dealt with efficiently.

Health and safety

Health and safety policy, insurance documents, safe systems of work and risk assessment are provided on all removal work.
